We Made It.

WE MADE IT.

Graduation, 2016. I remember walking around when I was in elementary school talking about the day I graduate. I can tell you right now that I would have never thought that I would where I am today. Life is crazy.

So today, June 5th, 2016, I declare that I am done. Done with school and with the negativity. I will be attending a community college until I figure out where I want to go, but I am done with grade school. This chapter in my life is coming to an end. Thankfully.

Today, I wanted to end it for good. I don’t want to go back and re-write anything. No edits. High School for me was not a positive experience. I grew as a person, and I am definitely a better person coming out than I was going in. I am so much more open and personable. It’s amazing. I have talked to my mom, who happens to be one of my best friends, about high school soooo many times.. and we have both mutually agreed that high school just wasn’t my thing.

If you are going into high school, I want you to know, work wise, you get what you put in. There is no such thing as a COMPLETE blow off class. Make good grades. Being intelligent is cool. I was only peer pressured to do something I wasn’t comfortable with twice. High school is not a big scary monster.

If you knew me in high school… just know that if you ever need a friend, even if we didn’t talk at all.. I am here for you.

If you were one of my teachers, I want you to know that I am truly grateful that you were in such an important part in my life.

So, here’s to the end and a new beginning.

Tomorrow I will be on a plane to South Carolina for a week long internship.
I hope you all had an amazing time. Thank you for reading.
