I don’t have cable. It’s so expensive and I don’t think a lot of people around where I live even have cable. We have Hulu and Netflix. That’s really all I need, I don’t watch live sports unless I’m at my boyfriend’s house, or at a sports bar.
I’ve been binge watching on Netflix like I have all the time in the world lately. I procrastinate so much. To a point where it’s not funny. It’s like I actually like staying up until 2 am writing a 7 page essay. Why am I this mean to myself??
But this is all good news for you because of course, I have a list! I know, I can be annoying with my lists. But they help! At least that’s what my mom tells me.

- Selling Sunset
This one is a bit newer, so there is only one season. But it’s so good! It’s about a real estate office in LA and all of the girls that work in the office. It’s billed as a ‘reality’ show, but it is definitely partly scripted. I mean, the Kardashians were partially scripted for a bit (maybe they still are? I haven’t watched that show in so long). But this show is making me want to go into real estate. And I worked in real estate (kinda social media stuff) and hated it! Maybe I need to move to LA and do reality there… I’m actually watching it right now. I can’t help it!

- Hart of Dixie
Hart of Dixie tugs on your heart strings and is also very funny. I was really hesitant to actually watch this show and I have no clue why! You can watch it if you want to kinda pay attention or if you really need to zone out. I usually kept it on in the background while I’m doing homework or writing. You can kinda pick it up anywhere in the season and start watching, but there is also a plot line that flows.

- New Girl
Okay, I am obsessed with this show. I keep it on all the time. I fall asleep to it, I eat with it on, I do homework with it on, I watch it even if it’s not in the back ground. I’ve rewatched these seasons twice (so far) and that doesn’t happen often. It’s about a teacher named Jessica Day that moves into a loft and has three guy roommates. It’s all about their friendship and the ups and downs of their life. It’s definitely a comedy but I am emotionally connected to the characters. I will cry when watching this.

- The Office
Do I have to explain this one? It’s the office! It’s about an office and a ridiculous boss. By now you probably know if you like it or if you don’t. Just watch it. It’s so good.

- Schitt’s Creek
Okay, they are actually filming their last season and I am really sad. Schitt’s Creek is a comedy about a rich family that literally loses everything and has to move to a small bum town. I am emotionally invested in these characters too, and I am very stressed out about this last season… I just want everyone to be happy! It’s very entertaining and there are so many funny little touches here and there. You actually end up rooting for the people you don’t think you would root for. One for the underdogs, am I right?

- Gilmore Girls
Okay, this one is kind of generic too. Lorelai and Rory will always have a special place in my heart! Do I have to explain this one? It’s about a mother-daughter duo that has an amazing relationship. It’s funny, it’s emotional, it is a rollercoaster! There is a reason they came back with an additional season years later! Grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a binge!

- Jane the Virgin
I was a bit hesitant to watch this one too. I watched a few episodes when it first came out and I wasn’t the biggest fan. But I decided to rewatch the series about a month ago, and I am so glad that I did. It’s so interesting and twisty I love it. It’s about Jane, who gets accidentally artificially inseminated (gross) and basically her life and relationships. It also has a novela twist and I love it! I love novelas but I don’t speak spanish and I don’t want to read the subtitles… so this is perfect for me!
